More on that to come, but first things first – what’s been happening behind the scenes while you’ve been patiently waiting?

Following the successful completion of the Hurtle Grove entry reserve and display home carpark, a new round of landscape works will commence in May 2025 and are expected to be completed later in the year. (Refer to the attached map). Oxigen Design were engaged to undertake this detailed design exercise for this next round of greenspaces.

Space Landscape Construction have been appointed to undertake and complete the streetscape works in Stages 1-3, the Stage 4 stormwater basin reserve and the Stage 5 natural mound reserve. The streetscape works will include the completion of all street verges and the planting of advanced trees.

The Stage 4 basin works will be a substantial project combining some hard edges detaining and major tree planting component. This area acts as an important stormwater catchment zone where water will be detained, cleaned and filtered through a bio-retention system prior to going into the Council stormwater system. The reserve also includes the provision of some important footpath connections and a large even grass area for active or passive recreation.

The Stage 5 natural mound reserve will provide footpath links through the reserve and include native tree planting. This reserve has been designed to add to and build on the existing organic nature of this environment and once completed will be a great area to walk through and separate yourself from the existing urban environment.

Hurtle Grove has not only become ‘the’ place to live in the south, the ‘waitlist’ demand has exceeded our expectations.
